  • Fluor (FLR +3.7%) and Japan’s JGC Corp. reportedly win orders to design and build the LNG Canada liquefied natural gas project for ~$14B.
  • Royal Dutch Shell (LON:RDSa) (RDS.A, RDS.B), PetroChina (NYSE:PTR), South Korea’s KOGAS and Japan’s Mitsubishi are moving ahead on the long-stalled project after the recent rise in energy prices, according to a weekend report from the Nikkei Daily.
  • LNG Canada is on track for a final investment decision later this year, an British Columbia provincial official said last month.
